Don’t expect too many to share your haven of life, however. Situated on a sever-acre site on the royal beach resort of Hua Hin, Chiva-Som offers just 57 accommodation units. Thai-style pavilions provide privacy with traditional charm, while all ocean view rooms and suites give you a view of sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand.

Chiva-Som’s specialized international and Thai designers have worked together to deliver a masterpiece of compelling simplicity in architecture, coupled with a sophistication of detail in finishing and furnishing. The Chiva-Som philosophy is based on positive mental and physical health. We encourage prevention rather than cure by helping you take responsibility and action for the quality of your life.

On arrival, you receive a private consultation from a member of the medical staff to advise a treatment and activity schedule suited to your individual requirements and personal goals. Our team of doctors, nurses, dieticians and other professionals can provide specialist advice as well as the latest treatments aimed at improving the efficiency of the immune system, rejuvenation and anti-ageing.

The staff in our ultra-modern Spa have been trained to world-class standards in the latest technologies and are supervised by an international management team. Divided into separate heat treatment areas for men and women, the Spa includes 15 treatment rooms for face and body massages, scrubs and wraps, reflexology, aromatherapy, electrical face and body reshaping and toning. There is also a hydrotherapy room and a unique floatation chamber for de-stressing.

The Spa also includes a beauty bar, hairdressing, manicure and pedicure facilities. Special to Chiva-Som are outdoor massage pavilions, for the ultimate hedonistic experience in natural surroundings.

From the high-tech, air-conditioned gym to an invigorating power walk along the beach, one of the key elements of the Chiva-Som experience involves fitness and exercise for all levels and ages. Throughout the day, you can choose from a wide range of classes, from energizing aerobics to contemplative yoga.

Water plays an important role at Chiva-Som. The splendid Bathing Pavilion includes and indoor pool for aqua aerobics, a multi-level unisex steam room, a plunge pool, a Kneipp bath of pebbles in cold and hot pools to massage the feet and a large hydro pool

In the great outdoors is an aquamarine-tiled pool by the sparkling sea for swimmers and sunbathers. Watersports are also available here. Other sports activities can be arranged at nearby facilities, including golf as some of the best golf courses in the country are located in the Hua Hin area.

Chiva-Som aims to educate as well, and lectures by experts in different fields are scheduled on a regular basis. These can range from talks on holistic healing and stress reduction to beauty or the culinary arts.
