General Information

Hua Hin means 'Stone Head'. Originally, it was known as Baan Samoe Rieng, or Baan Laem Hin (Stony Point Village).

Hua Hin Thailand is located in the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and only 25 Km. from Cha-am in the Petchaburi province. Both are popular seaside resorts just 195 Km. to the south of Bangkok.

Hua Hin Thailand has many attractions for the tourists and is full of nice restaurants with excellent Thai and International cuisines. Yearly festivals are held like Chinese new year, Songkran Festival, Loy Kratong, Hua Hin Jazz Festival, Hua Hin & Cha-am Golf Festival and the world famous Kings Cup Elephant Polo Tournament.9th Thailand International Kite Festival

Hua Hin is an enjoyable holiday destination all year round, although 1 period from November to April is marked with high winds and big waves. A wide range of accommodation is offered, from small guest houses to luxurious resort.

Hua Hin offers all sorts of souvenir items, from dolls, ornaments, a decorations crafted from sea shells and coconuts, to Kommapat woven clothe pineapple products, dried fruits, and aloe vera.

Local Products In addition to plenty of dried seafood, Prachuap Khiri Khan offers various food products made from pineapples, coconuts, bananas and aloe vera. Typical “Khomaphat” printed cotton is a famous souvenir available at Hua Hin.
